KOCHI: Actor Hareesh Pisharadi has criticised cinema artistes for their silence on the riots in New Delhi over Citizenship Rights Amendment Act.
In a sarcastic comment on his Facebook page, Pisharadi says the artistes are busy increasing and reducing weights for characters. This is why they are not reacting to the riots happening in India’s capital.
“We cinema artistes are very busy people. We are not the kind of people you think us to be. Therefore we don’t get time to react as and when something happens in the country.
This is because we are busy developing six packs and eight packs for our characters.
.
After that we will have to dissolve all these packs.
We are people who are very busy but if all these tension eases, we will make cinema on that. At that time, all should be with us because that is your responsibility,” says Hareesh Peradi.
