KOCHI: An arrest warrant has been issued against actor Kunchacko Boban in connection with actress attack case. He is a witness in the case. A summons was earlier issued for Kunchacko but he didn't show up. So an arrest warrant was issued by the Ernakulam Session Judge Honey M Varghese.

Kunchacko Boban had told the court he cannot appear at the court as he was busy with film shooting in Kodaikanal. Subsequently, the court directed him to appear on March 4th. Apart from Kunchacko, witnesses Geethu Mohandas, VA Shrikumar and Samyuktha Varma were called on to deliver their statements.

The statement of Geethu Mohandas was taken on Friday. But the court scheduled the hearing of Samyuktha Varma, citing that questions to her and Geethu were the same. The court also avoided the hearing of director VA Shrikumar.
