THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan the other day had proclaimed that the construction of two lakh houses have been completed under the Life Mission Project. The people will understand everything if the chief minister gives a clarification on the share of the state and central governments on this project implemented by the state government in the name of life mission, said union minister V Muraleedharan.
“It is said that more than two lakh houses were built in Kerala as part of the Life Mission. A good thing. Nobody is against constructing a house. The respectable chief minister should say how much money he got from the centre for this project implemented in the name of Life Mission. If he clarifies the share of the state and the central government, the people of the state will understand clearly. The various projects implemented in the state are funded by the centre, that is not a generosity,’ he said.
In a Facebook post, he said it is painful on the side of the state government preventing many of the social and security projects being implemented by the central government from reaching the people. After renaming many of the central schemes they add it in their account. He blamed the state for playing politics after keeping the centre completely out of the picture.
