KOTTAYAM: The inquiry into the recent deaths that took place at the Puthujeevan Trust hospital in Changanassery has led to shocking revelations. According to the investigation conducted by the Kottayam ADM, it has been found out that a total of 30 people have died in the hospital in the last 8 years. Following this, ADM Anil Oommen has announced a detailed inquiry about the incident.
The ADM had collected evidence from the hospital following an order from Kottayam District Collector. The details about the death cases were collected from the hospital registers. According to the findings, more than 30 deaths including suicides have occurred in the hospital from 2012 till now. Meanwhile, sources said that there are some disputes regarding the institution's license. The institution is currently working on the basis of cases that are being considered by the High Court.
The ADM has also collected details from locals and employees of the institution. The report will be submitted to the Collector within two days.
