KOCHI: The ban imposed on actor Shane Nigam by the Kerala Film Producers' Association is likely to be lifted after the actor agreed to pay a compensation of Rs 32 lakhs to the producers of his stalled films. The actor has expressed willingness to pay the compensation amount in a meeting held in Kochi with the executive body of the AMMA association.
Following the meeting, AMMA president Mohanlal said that the actor has agreed to pay a compensation of Rs 32 lakhs to the producers and this information has been conveyed to the Producers' Association. He also expressed hope that everything would end up well so that Shane can resume his work soon. It is learnt that a decision regarding lifting the actor's ban will be taken by the Producers' Association after a meeting with AMMA representatives on Wednesday.
