‘God is going to give me what I thought would never happen in my life. I need all your prayers and wishes,’ Pranav, native of Irinjalakuda wrote in his Facebook page on February 3. Pranav is confined to a wheelchair. His life took a cruel turn when he met with an accident six years back leaving him crippled. His relatives and friends stood with him. He penned a note in the Facebook sharing his happiness on the entry of another person in his life.
Shehana, a native of Thiruvananthapuram is now his better half. Their marriage photos have gone viral in the social media. Sitting in a wheelchair, Pranav tied the mangalsutra (thali) on Shehana’s neck at a function organised in the temple.
Pranav’s friends used to take him for all functions. He enjoys everything. A video of Pranav enjoying a temple festival had gone viral in the social media. Shehana happened to see this video. She then decided to be a part of his life.
She presented it before his friends. She told them that she wants to be his better half. Many from all sides were against the decision, but she stuck to her decision. She reached Irinjalakuda. The wedding was held at the Ala Temple in Kodungallur
His close relatives and friends attended the function.
There is a saying that love is blind and has no eyes and nose. In the case of Pranav and Shehana, it is almost true. Even when everyone opposed, Shehana stood firm on her decision. Many came forward wishing the couple.
