THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has come down heavily on the lightning strike held by KSRTC employees. The chief minister has asked Transport Minister A K Saseendran to take strong action against the strikers.
Following the strike, the employees parked the buses here and there, which also resulted in traffic snarls. Pinarayi also asked him to consider this aspect of the strike seriously.
Minister Saseendran had also come out to criticise the strike and he said lightning strike is not a good practice. Meanwhile, a traveller had collapsed and died during the strike. The dead was identified as Kadakamppally native Surendran (60).
He had developed body discomfort at East Fort. Though he was admitted to hospital after the administration of the First Aid, his life could not be saved.
