THRISSUR: A picture showing the signboard for a separate toilet for Brahmins in Kuttumuck Mahadeva temple in Thrissur is going viral on social media. Several people have lashed out at the temple authorities for putting up the signboard for a separate toilet apart from the general toilets for men and women.

As the protest against the signboard is intensifying, certain people have come up pointing out that the toilet was meant to be used by the priest of the temple. However, netizens are finding the explanation hard to digest as they claimed that such boards can only serve to tarnish the image of Kerala as the most literate state in the country.
