KAMBALAKKADU: Police have arrested a woman, who had eloped with her lover. The man was also arrested along with her. The woman is a resident of Kambalakkadu police station limit and a temporary teacher of Muttil panchayat government school. She has two children of ages 4.5 year and 1.5 year.

The woman, who ran away after leaving behind her children, lived with her lover Ajosh in Sultan Bathery for four days.

During this time, the woman’s father gave a missing complaint to Kambalakkadu police. In the investigation conducted after that, the police team led by Inspector Ranjith arrested both of them on Thursday.

Police have filed a case against the woman under Juvenile Justice Act. The lover has also been booked for motivating the woman to run away with him.
