South Indian actress Trisha has stepped back from the Telugu film Acharya in which Chiranjeevi is the hero. In her Twiiter handle, Trisha noted that it is the difference of opinion in its creativity that led to her decision to withdraw from the project.

“Sometimes things turn out to be different from what was initially said and discussed. Due to creative differences, I have chosen not to be part of Chiranjeevi sir’s film. Wishing the team well. To my lovely Telugu audiences-hope to see you soon in an exciting project.” She wrote.

Trisha’s last Telugu cinema has been horror thriller ‘Nayaki’ released in 2016. Chiranjeevi and Trisha had come together for the last time in the film Stalin, made under the banner Murugadoss in 2006.

Kotala Shiva is Acharya’s director. This is Chiranjeevi’s first film with him. Acharya is being produced by Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments while Mani Sharma is the music director.

The makers of Acharya are trying to get Mahesh Babu’s date for an extended cameo. Actress Regina Cassandra shot a special song for the film, recently. The film reportedly is the story of a social reformer, who fights against misappropriation of temple funds. Acharya is being made at an estimated budget of Rs 140 crore.
