THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister K K Shailaja asked employees including doctors on leave to join duty immediately considering the particular situation of the state.

The minister asked those who have gone on leave for no valid reason to resume work soon. More doctors will be appointed temporarily in hospitals, she said.

The minister directed primary health centres of the state to function till 6 pm.

Kerala on the whole has come up with strong measures to combat coronavirus. In this situation, a joint functioning of all health workers are needed, she said.
