THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state has confirmed one more positive case of COVID-19. A Kasaragod native has tested positive for the disease. With this case, the total number of positive cases under treatment in hospitals in Kerala rose to 25, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan told the media here.
30, 926 people are under observation in houses while 227 persons are being observed in hospitals. On Thursday, there were 64 new admissions in hospitals.
The chief minister also announced an economic package of Rs 20,000 as the state is about to face a financial crisis due to the corona situation.
