KASARGOD: The MLAs of Kasargod and Manjeswaram are under observation as they came in contact with a patient confirmed of coronavirus. MLAs M C Kamarudeen and N A Nellikunnu have been placed under isolation in their homes. They came in contact with a patient confirmed of the virus. The two MLAs had attended a marriage function and some other public programmes.
Manjeswaram MLA Kamarudeen came in contact with the patient at a marriage function and Nellikunnu came in contact with the patient at a public function. As soon as the patient was confirmed of the virus yesterday, the two MLAs decided to go into self quarantine.
Meantime, reports say this patient came in contact with many in Kasargod. He landed at the Kozhikode Airport on March 11. He later stayed at a hotel in Kozhikode. He reached Kasargod on March 12 in Maveli Express. He was in Kasargod from March 12-17. During this period he had attended two weddings and many public programmes.
