THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The centre has directed to shut down 75 districts of the country including seven of Kerala confirmed of coronavirus. The decision has been taken in wake of the spread of the virus. A decision has been taken to lockdown Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Kasargod, Malappuram, Kannur districts of Kerala. The borders of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will close today. The Puducherry border too will be closed. All train services have been stopped till March 31 as part of preventing the virus.

Meantime, curfew in Tamil Nadu will continue till Monday morning at 5 am. The Tamil Nadu Government has requested the public to cooperate with them. The states can call for more restrictions on their own. More regulations have been announced in the country to prevent the spread of the virus. Metro services will be suspended all over the country. A decision has been taken to stop inter-state bus services. There will be only essential services in 75 districts confirmed of COVID-19. The decision was taken at the meet convened by the cabinet secretary.

The sixth death of corona was confirmed in Bihar today. A 38-year-old youth died of the virus. Reports said he had some kidney related ailments. The symptoms were found on him after he returned from Kolkata. The union health ministry has not made an official announcement on it.
