BENGALURU: Kannada film producer V K Mohanan (59) committed suicide. He was found hanging in the hotel owned by him. Financial crisis is likely to be the reason for him to take the drastic step. Police have registered a case for unnatural death.

He was known as Kapali Mohanan. He had invested money in a tender related to a bus stand in Bengaluru. He suffered a financial burden due to the non-functioning of the bus stand. He had recently posted a video in the social media seeking help from Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
