KANNUR: A man who was under home quarantine for COVID-19 died here Saturday. He has been identified as Abdul Khader of Kannur Cheleri. Khader who came from Sharjah was directed to go under home quarantine from the airport. He reached on March 21 and from then on was in home quarantine. When relatives came to give him food, he was found lying unconscious in his room. They immediately informed the health workers and though was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved. He was upset when he came to know about the patient who died of corona in Kochi yesterday. He was subjected for a counselling also.

He was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and was a heart patient. Preliminary reports say heart attack is the cause of death. His throat swab has been sent for examination. More details can be known only after getting it. The body has been shifted to Kannur Govt Medical College.
