THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: While Kerala is witnessing an increase in the number of coronavirus cases, the government has maintained that community spread of the virus has not taken place so far. However, the Kerala Government Medical Officer's Association (KGMOA) has warned that the possibility of community spread cannot be ruled out in the state.
Over the last few days, various hospitals and primary health centres have reported an increase in the number of cold, fever cases. According to KGMOA, scientific tests must be conducted regarding this. The organisation also demanded the authorities to provide more safety equipments to the health workers.
