THODUPUZHA: Latest report suggests that the recent test results of the Congress leader from Idukki, who had earlier tested positive for coronavirus, have returned negative. While the first result has turned negative on Sunday, the patient will be able to leave the hospital once the second result also returns negative, sources said. However, he will have to remain under home-quarantine for 28 more days.
Earlier, the Idukki district administration had reported that the Congress leader had interacted with over 1000 persons in the recent past. Following this, the person had requested the district collector to reveal his name through media.
At present, over 260 persons in Idukki have been asked to remain under observation after they were found to have interacted with the Congress leader.
