THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The district administration revoked the complete lockdown clamped at Pothencode in Thiruvananthapuram district on Thursday.

The district collector had the other day imposed complete lockdown in the area after Abdul Azeez, a resident here, died of Coronavirus infection.

But, after taking stock of the situation, the district has come to the conclusion that there is no chance of community transmission at Pothecode.

The district administration withdrew the restrictions as the test report of those who had come into contact with Abdul Azeez turned negative. However, the area will be under observation.
