LONDON: One more Keralite died in London after contracting COVID-19. The victim has been identified as Sinto George (36), a native of Velimanam at Iritty in Kannur. He was confirmed of COVID-19 and was in the ICU for the past one week. Sinto and his family were in UK for the past 10 years. With this, number of Keralites who died abroad rose to 16.

Indira Bharathi from Kottarakkara who visited her daughter in London died at the St George Hospital yesterday. She was a retired teacher of Muttara Govt Higher Secondary School. She was hospitalised for about a month following a stroke and in between she contracted the disease.

So far, three Keralites have died of COVID-19 in the UK. One nurse from Kerala died of COVID-19 in Ireland yesterday.
