NEW DELHI: The centre informed the Supreme Court that the issue between Kerala and Karnataka related to the movement of vehicles carrying the sick for urgent medical treatment at the interstate border at Palapadi has been solved. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta who appeared for the centre informed the Supreme Court via video conferencing.
He said the problem no longer exists and guidelines for taking the sick for treatment are being prepared. The case was considered by a bench led by Supreme Court Chief Justice S A Bobde. The plea was filed by Rajmohan Unnithan MP pointing the Kerala-Karnataka issue.
