WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has blamed the World Health Organisation (WHO) for the coronavirus outbreak and criticised the organisation for advising against the US travel restrictions imposed on China by him. Taking it to Twitter, the US president even went on to call the international body as "very China-centric".
Trump's post read, 'The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China-centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately, I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?'
