NEW DELHI: One more Malayali nurse has been confirmed of COVID-19 in New Delhi. With this, ten nurses have contracted the disease. It is not clear the nurse confirmed of the virus is from which district in Kerala. 26 doctors and nurses were confirmed of the virus in Delhi. More health workers contracting the disease is a matter of great concern.

Malayali nurses undergoing treatment complain of inadequate care. There are complaints that those under surveillance do not even get the help they need, including their own tests and have to do it on their own. Earlier, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had written to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal mentioning all these. The results of almost thirty nurses of Delhi Cancer Institute have to be obtained. Samples of 24 nurses of a private hospital in Punjabi Bagh in West Delhi were sent for examination two days back. The results were not yet obtained.
