Actor Ajith Kumar has come forward to donate Rs 50 lakh each to PM-CARES Fund and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The actor has also contributed Rs 25 lakh to FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India) workers, who have been rendered jobless following the Covid-19 outbreak.

The pandemic has killed more than 80,000 across the world and spreading and spreading like a wildfire in many parts of the world. Many celebrities have also come up with creative videos on precautionary measures.

Shoots of all films and television shows have also been temporarily suspended.

Ajith is currently shooting for the film Valimai, directed by H Vinoth and touted to be an action thriller. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is playing the female lead.
