ABU DHABI: Two including a pravasi died in UAE of COVID-19. One is an Asian and the other is an Arab. It is not known they belong to which country. The two had other ailments. Officials said the death was due to complications from the virus. With this, the deaths in UAE rose to 14.

331 fresh cases of the virus was confirmed in the country yesterday. 2990 have been confirmed of the virus. The UAE is conducting extensive testing to identify the infected. The health ministry said that in the last two days alone nearly 40,000 examinations were carried out.

Those confirmed of the virus belong to various countries. Officials said the condition of the patients was satisfactory and adequate treatment was being given.
