KASARGOD: Fourteen have been cured of COVID-19 in Kasargod, the district having the highest number of cases in the state. Fourteen natives of Kasaragod including the first patient in the second return of the disease, have been cured and will be discharged today. Six from Kasargod General Hospital and eight from Kannur Pariyaram Medical College will leave the hospital.
The medical board approved the discharge after evaluating the sample test results of the native of Kalanadu, the first patient infected in the second arrival of the virus. Seven natives of Kasargod admitted at Pariyaram Medical College left the hospital today. Eight natives of Kasargod under treatment in Kannur Pariyaram Medical College will be discharged today.
Three from Kanhangad District Hospital have been discharged. They were discharged after testing negative. Presently 161 from the district have sought treatment for COVID-19.
