THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister K K Shailaja has said that the health workers had made maximum efforts to save the life of Mahe native, who had been afflicted with Covid.

“We could not save his life as he had other diseases. By the time he tested positive for the virus, he had become very weak. The disease could be detected only after his fluid sample was taken on April 1 at Aster MIMS and tested. The test results of the family members are also negative. We have been able to get his primary contact list,” the minister said.
