KANNUR. The health department has released the route map of the Mahe Cherukallayi native Maharoof, who died of Covid on Saturday morning.
It is not yet known from where he had contracted the disease. According to reports, he had never travelled abroad or come into contact with people arriving Kerala from foreign countries.
He had travelled to New Mahe, Chokli and Pannyannur panchayats. Between March 15 and 21, he had attended religious functions and ‘bride seeing’ ceremony with his son. The religious functions took place in M M High school church. On March 18, he also took part in the wedding engagement that took place at Champatt in Pannyannur. He reached MM high school mosque and Aroor mosque.
Attempts have been started to find out persons who had come into contact with him. Maharood, who had been under treatment in Pariyaram Medical College died at 7:30 am on Saturday.
