Yesteryear actress Amala Akkineni is a great animal lover. At this Covid times, she finds time to speak up for animals. Pet animals won’t contract Covid 19 disease. Several organisations including the Animal Welfare Board of India has confirmed this.

Amala, who heads the NGO ‘Blue Cross of Hyderabad,’ is an anima; activist as well as social worker. She and Blue Cross have jointly done several activities for giving shelter to animals.
