THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 10 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Kerala on Saturday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said after attending the coronavirus evaluation meeting in Thiruvananthapuram. Out of the 10 people, 7 are from Kannur, 2 are from Kasargod and one is from Kozhikode.

Among the 10 people who tested positive on Saturday, 7 people contracted the disease through contact. With this, the number of coronavirus cases in the state has reached 373 with 228 people currently undergoing treatment at various hospitals.


The CM also said that 19 patients have tested negative on Saturday. He also added that a pregnant lady, who was recently cured of the disease in Kannur, has given birth to a baby on Saturday. While informing that the conditions of the mother and child are satisfactory, the Chief Minister also took the opportunity to appreciate the doctors and nurses who treated the patient.
