As per the tally by Johns Hopkins University 18,46,680 have contracted the disease. The death toll in the US has reached 22,105. More than 1500 have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. More death cases and infected are reported in the US. There are more than 5.5 lakh patients in US. More deaths were recorded in New York.

Almost 738 deaths have been reported from New York alone. Schools have been closed in New York. Over 50 states in the United States that have declared national emergency have been professed disaster prone. There is a decrease in death rates in Spain and Italy. 603 and 431 have died in Spain and Italy the other day. So far, 19,899 people have died in Italy and 156,363 have been infected. The infected cases in the Gulf have crossed14,000 and 96 deaths have been reported. 29 people have been tested positive of the virus in Saudi Arabia in the last 24 hours.
