THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government is undecided whether yo sell liquor online in Kerala, minister TP Ramakrishnan said. No such directive has been received, he said.

Regarding the opening of bars and beverage outlets, the minister said a decision will be made by the cabinet after considering the centre's stand on the same.

"The government's stand during lockdown was that no one should die due to the unavailability of liquor. Illegal liquor popped up and the excise department tried to stop it. The government won't allow the production and sales of spurious liquor. No employee of the BEVCO would have to struggle due to the COVID-19 disaster", the minister said.
