THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Higher Education Minister KT Jaleel on Tuesday said that University exams in the state will be conducted only after the nationwide lockdown gets lifted. While the exams scheduled to begin in the second week of May might be conducted as per the schedule, a final decision will be taken in a meeting of Vice-Chancellors on Wednesday, the minister said.

Jaleel also added that the exams will get postponed only if the nationwide lockdown gets extended beyond the first week of May. While stating that there are some technical limitations when it comes to conducting online examinations, the minister added that the possibilities of online evaluation are currently being studied.
