NEW YORK: The number of COVID-19 patients are increasing day by day in USA. America which has the most modern treatment facilities is not able to control the disease. Sreelekah Chandrasekhar is sharing her Malayali friend Rafeeq Tharayil’s treatment experiences after he recovered from the disease. She shared the experiences through her Facebook.

The symptoms were seen on him on March 24. He had severe headache, fever, abdominal discomfort and loss of appetite. He immediately contacted the health workers. Her post says that every hospital has an app and through that connects the hospital and they send the medicines home. Rafeeq took treatment while in self-isolation. In case of breathlessness, medicine and antibiotics would be given. A person with severe respiratory distress can call 911 and they will be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. This is the story of Rafeeq who defended COVID for several days.

Rafeeq is recovering from the disease after 20 days of self-quarantine. He has no other difficulties other than a slight stuttering while talking. Rafeeq is a perfect example of how a COVID patient should cope with the disease and live with a social commitment.
