THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It seems that the Opposition is all set to add coal to the Sprinklr controversy amid government’s efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
At a press conference here, former chief minister Oommen Chandy said the mystery prevails over Sprnklr contract and it is for the chief minister to clear the air.
“The government is getting ready to hand over the sensitive health details of the citizens to a foreign company. It is the law department which has to prepare the contract but none of the departments concerned did see the contract.
The deal became more fishy as the government didn’t any have any related file with them when Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala levelled the allegation against it.
The contract was the one that didn’t protect the interest of the State. Is it possible to make a contract here on the lines of foreign laws? Where did the government get the right for this? The chief minister’s reply is not convincing…” Ooommen Chandy said.
