THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A set of guidelines regarding the lockdown restrictions in Kerala till May 3 were issued on Friday evening. As announced earlier, the state has been divided into four zones based on the number of active cases reported in each district. As per the guidelines, Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode and Malappuram districts, which come under the red zone, will be under complete lockdown till May 3.
The state has been divided into 4 zones- namely red zone, orange A zone, orange B zone and green zone. The districts that come under orange A zone are Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam and Kollam. These districts will be under partial lockdown after April 24. On the other hand, Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Thrissur, Palakkad and Wayanad comes under Orange B zone and will experience relaxation in restrictions from April 20 onwards.
Kottayam and Idukki, the districts which come under the green zone, are currently experiencing relaxation in restrictions as there are no active cases at the present.
