THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Partial relaxation in lockdown restrictions in the state will come into effect from Tuesday. Vehicles carrying can travel on roads by following an odd-even system on alternate days in Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, Thrissur and Wayanad. In Ernakulam, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta, vehicles can make it to roads from Saturday by following the system.

But in Kasaragod, Kannur, Malappuram and Kozhikode vehicles won't be allowed on roads.

Two-wheelers can carry a pillion rider from family. Vehicles won't be needing passes or prior permission to run. However, inter-district travel won't be allowed.

In Kottayam and Idukki, auto-rickshaws can run. But only two passengers will be allowed.

Vehicles carrying odd numbers can run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Vehicles with even numbers can run on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The norms for travel on Sunday is still undecided.

However, for essential services, office-goers and women, the odd-even number system won't be applicable.

In four-wheelers, only two passengers other than the driver will be allowed.
