DUBAI: The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) on Sunday said that 5,185 foreign citizens have been returned to their countries on board the UAE's national carriers.
The Ministry also announced that 22,900 foreigners were repatriated through 127 land and air operations through international carriers amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
There are also more operations underway to take foreigners to their nations, the Ministry said.
Meanwhile, Indians abroad are still waiting for the government to grant permission for their return. Workers in labour camps have been shifted to schools.
