KOZHIKODE: Two medical students of Kozhikode Medical College have been confirmed of COVID-19. They are likely to have contracted the disease from patients while travelling from Delhi to Kozhikode. People who attended Tablighi meet were in the train they travelled. It will be examined whether the two contracted the disease from them.

The route map of the students are being prepared. Only after that, it can be confirmed how they contracted it. Meantime, Kozhikode DMO has not confirmed the news officially. An official announcement is expected by evening.

It is the chief minister who usually releases the data of COVID infected. The government took such a move as it is a matter of grave concern that many news of confirmed cases are coming from many centres. More details are expected in the chief minister’s press meet.
