THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has alleged that two retired officers were appointed to examine the Sprinklr contract in order to whitewash the issue.

“We’ll not accept this. The new committee is not capable of handling the international contract that was prepared violating all procedures. Both persons in the company are the officials of a private company.

They will not have the right to examine related documents or summon the chief minister and officers for questioning them. It is a kind of makeshift committee appointed to probe a makeshift contract.

The chief minister has said that all allegations about the company are lies. Then, he should explain why he has appointed a committee to probe the issue.

By agreeing to examine Sprinklr issue after Covid times, the state CPM Secretariat hints that something has happened that should not have happened,” he added.
