THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday announced that three more persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the state. All three infected persons are from Kasargod.
All the three who tested positive on Friday have contracted the disease through contact with infected persons. Meanwhile, 15 infected persons tested negative for the virus on Friday, the CM added.
Out of the 116 active corona cases in the state, Kannur has the highest number of active cases(56). While 21,243 are under home quarantine, 452 persons are kept under observation at various hospitals. Out of the 21,941 samples sent for testing, 20,830 have returned negative.
