THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Vigilance has recommended action against 196 stores in the state following a raid to put a hold on black market and hoarding. In Thiruvananthapuram, there are 77 such shops, 19 in Ernakulam, 18 each in Kozhikode and Kollam, 13 in Kottayam, and 10 in Malappuram. The raid was conducted at 434 stores across the state.
In the raid, it was found that some stores have unlawfully increased prices in addition to hoarding commodities.
