THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala will begin the registration of those Malayalis who are stranded in other states on Wednesday. Those people who wish to return to the state have been asked to register at NORKA website from Wednesday evening onwards.
Several Malayalis including students, job seekers, businessmen, pilgrims, tourists and those who have gone to visit dear ones were reportedly stranded in various parts of the country due to the nationwide lockdown. According to sources, priority will be given to people seeking treatment, students, people who have lost their jobs, retirees and people who have gone for agricultural needs.
Meanwhile, around 2.76 lakh Malayali expats stranded in various countries have registered to return on the NORKA website.
