THIRUVNANTHAPURAM: A new system is in place in police headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram wherein if a person lodge a complaint here, he will get the reply via email or SMS.

State police chief Lokanath Behera has given instructions in this regard to all sections in the headquarters.

The action taken on the complaint will be sent as the reply. The policemen who gives complaints related to their service will also get replies in the similar way.

This reformation will be extended soon to the offices of district police chiefs and other police offices.

Instructions have also been given to officers concerned to collect the phone number and email of the complainant.
