Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has given a strong reply to Union MoS V Muraleedharan’s statement that over confidence of Kerala government had resulted in Kottayam and Idukki abruptly turning into hot spot from red spot.
He had said that Kerala’s overconfidence should not give way to pride.
In a reply to a media person’s question in this regard on Wednesday, the chief minister said:
“Muraleedharan’s reaction is without any sense. It didn’t suit the post of a Union minister. What does he mean by saying we didn’t hold discussion. In the State, there is mechanisms for discussions and we took stand only on the basis of that discussions. The situation had witnessed a sudden hike in the number of Covid patients in Idukki and Kottayam…”
