KASARAGOD: The district collector D Sajith Babu has been placed under observation after the journalist who interviewed him tested positive for COVID-19. The interview was nine days back. Two gunmen of the collector are also under observation.

The deputy DMO said the samples of related persons including that of the journalist's cameraman has been collected for testing. The health department said that some persons with chances of contact with the journalist have been entered in the observation list.
