THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Over 3.20 lakh Malayali expatriates stranded in various countries have registered online for returning to the state till 5 pm on Wednesday. Out of the 3,20,463 registrations 2,23,624 are work/resident visa holders. 57,436 persons are visiting visa holders, 20,219 are sponsored visa holders, 7276 are students, 691 are transit visa holders and there are 11,327 others.

Out of those wishing to return, 56,114 registrations have lost their jobs and 58,823 are on their annual leave.
