ABU DHABI: Four more Keralites have died of COVID-19 in the Gulf. Two each died in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi. Social activist P K Kareem Haji (62) died in Abu Dhabi after contracting the disease. Kareeem, native of Thirvathra in Thrissur was an active member of Abu Dhabi Indian Islamic Centre and KMCC.
Princy Roy Mathew, a native of Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta died while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in Abu Dhabi. She was a teacher of Abu Dhabi Indian School.
With this, the number of Keralites died in UAE rose to 22.
Rajesh Kuttappan Nair, a native of Edayanmula at Laha in Pathanamthitta died in Kuwait. He was 52. He was an employee of Bader Al-Mulla Company. He died while undergoing treatment in hospital. Abdul Gafoor (54) of Valappad in Thrissur was the second person who died in Kuwait.
