THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Kadakampally Surendran on Friday denied rumours regarding confusion over the COVID-19 test results in the state capital. While stating that the same sample can return positive and negative results, the minister added that action was taken as per the initial results. He also added that authorities are yet to figure out from where did the COVID-19 patients in the district contract the disease.

He further said that all those who have come in contact with the two patients have been placed under home-quarantine or kept under observation in hospitals. The minister also urged people of Neyyatinkara to maintain self-control and stay in their homes.
