KOCHI: An out of control car ran into a group of people here in Muttam near Aluva, killing three. The deceased has been identified as Kunjumon of Puthuvayil House in Muttam Thaikavu, Majeesh MB of Mattathil Parambil in Thrikkakkara Thoppil, and his daughter Archana (8). All three died at the spot. Injured have been entered into a private hospital in Kalamassery.

The accident was at around 5 pm near Kochi Metro pillar no. 187. The car on the way to Ernakulam from Aluva lost control and sped into a group of people buying food to break Ramadan fasting. Unnichira native Majeesh and his daughter were inside an autorickshaw when the car hit them and slammed then onto a Metro pillar. Both died at the spot.

In another accident in Muvattupuzha on Sunday night, three died including a young actor.
